Baptism at Penteli Monastery with a Floral Touch

At one of Attica’s most historic and serene monasteries, the Holy Monastery of the Dormition of the Virgin in Penteli, little Maria’s baptism took place in September. The atmosphere was filled with light, color, and emotion, unfolding like a living fairy tale.

Nature and tradition were embraced in every detail of the décor. At the entrance, floral arrangements in shades of pink, fuchsia, and lilac welcomed guests with tenderness, while romantic roses, orchids, and delicate wildflowers added an effortless elegance to the setting.

The baptismal font was adorned with a lush bouquet of dusty pink roses, soft beige accents, and small touches of hypericum and white blossoms that seemed to whisper blessings. The result was a scene that was both tender and vibrant, highlighting the ceremony with grace and respect.

The centerpiece of the event was the candy table, thoughtfully created for both young and adult guests. Mini cupcakes decorated with handcrafted sugar flowers, cookies bearing Maria’s name in white and pink tones, elegant sweets displayed in glass jars, and sparkling gold accents created a sweet celebration where joy and care were reflected in every bite.

The little one’s dress, white and airy like a cloud with a striking pink floral sash, perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic. It was the finishing touch that completed the image of a ceremony full of elegance and childhood innocence.

Little Maria’s baptism was more than just a ceremony; it was an experience filled with light, blooming beauty, and tender emotions. Every guest experienced a day that combined tradition, beauty, and joy—a day that will remain etched in the memory of everyone present.
